Spring-summer 2019 trends

Bryan's second podcast is now available. In this episode we talk to you about the trends that are going to flood the stores this spring summer 2019.

Volumes, fluorine, sorbet and citrus colors will flood the fashion world in the coming months. We now present the trends that cannot be missing from your wardrobe.

Volumes and defiance of gravity in shirts with puffed sleeves or balloon sleeves.

We already started to see them last summer, but this season is when the stores will be full of them. In white, in earthy colors and stripes,... will you include it in your seasonal basics?

If we had to choose one, Beatriz Peñalver , a Spanish designer with an online store and two stores in Granada, has the winning bet for us.

Color suits.

They are presented both for more sophisticated looks, with square-heeled sandals , and for more sporty looks with sneakers or platform sandals .

We will see them especially in fluorine and citrus colors . Escada is one of the brands that is most committed to this trend on the catwalk.

Tailored suits. Wide-waisted suits with a masculine cut, combined with matching shorts or Bermuda shorts.

A trend that we have seen in the Hadid sisters and that we can classify as one of those that, as we say, ... "either you love or you hate."

Compatible with all types of shoes. With sneakers, with dress sandals , with flat sandals and with our favorite option, with platform sandals like the Álex!

These are long-cut blazers , just enough to reveal the bottom of the shorts. Made of airy fabrics and a color palette that will range from spring tones to pastel or sorbet.

Craft Work or artisanal tendency.

There are many catwalks in which both the garments and the accessories breathed an artisanal air. Representing this trend, many others have emerged, such as straw or raffia bags, which we talked about in our previous post. (You can see it here )

Olvido Madrid is a store that has given this trend a more formal touch with party bags made with drawstrings.

Lola Verona , a brand of which we declare ourselves big fans in Bryan, and with which we hope to coincide on April 6 and 7 at the Madrid Design Market , knows how to transfer that artisanal air to each of its jewels.

Cycling pants.

Brands like Chanel or Zendi have been among the first to show them on their catwalks, and for a few months now, you can already find them in low-cost brands like Zara, Bershka,...

Junk food.

Another trend to love or hate. It reaches such a point that it has gone beyond prints on clothing and accessories, such as t-shirts and bags, to the jewelry sector, as is the case with Glenda López 's proposals, which includes popcorn and pizza necklaces in her collection.

pizza necklace

Feathers.

For clothing, for events,... Céline's shows are full of them.

tie die

Back to the 80s. We find it in both multicolored t-shirts and neon garments. Present in pants, t-shirts, shirts, ... its maximum representation will be found in t-shirts.

Jeans. Wide silhouettes and increasingly wider sizes.

In this case, the Levi's brand has surpassed itself, launching the highest pants in history. The so-called " Ribcage ". Can you get through spring without them?

Moles.

In black and white and brown. The trend leads us to combine different polka dot garments with different prints and colors. Will you dare to combine them?

And that's it, the compilation of the garments that you will see the most this spring-summer 2019 . If you like this podcast and want to be the first to access our episodes, subscribe to our Ivoox channel and leave us proposals for new podcasts in the comments!
